Below are samples of successful projects recently completed:

Labatt Breweries of Canada:

Primary data architect responsible for the design of master data management application for Labatt Breweries of Canada. The application uses Kalido MDM technology to bring together data from multiple applications into a single master data repository for consistent use, supporting both operational and analysis requirements. In the initial phase, this cross-functional repository was comprised of 150 categories integrating information from SAP, Oracle ERP, HRIS and a number of legacy applications. A second phase extended this application to comprise over 300 categories.

Primary data architect responsible for the design of a cross-functional enterprise data warehouse for Labatt Breweries of Canada. The data warehouse itself was built using Kalido DIW in conjunction with Informatica on an Oracle database with Cognos as the BI Reporting tool. On delivery the data warehouse was composed of more than 40 dimensions comprised of over 200 hierarchies. One hundred and sixty measures were defined in approximately 100 separate fact data sets. Subject areas included financial, commercial and supply chain information, all sharing common dimensions where applicable. Since that time, the warehouse has expanded to 70 dimensions and double the number of fact data sets and measures.

Kalido Customers  (Refer to Labatt Breweries of Canada)

Primary data architect responsible for the design of a Manugistics integration with Oracle ERP and a Kalido data warehouse for Labatt Breweries of Canada. Much of this project involved defining a master data management repository to support the definitions and translations required to support planning in Manugistics.

Anheuser-Busch InBev:

Primary Kalido architect in the design and implementation of a global data warehouse to support the reporting of commercial and financial metrics and KPIs. Data is drawn and conformed to standard dimensions from multiple source, both internal and external.

Abbott International:

Consultant engaged to assist in the modeling and design of a financial data warehouse using Kalido DIW with Cognos as the BI Reporting tool. The implementation went on to win an Abbott award as well as awards from InfoWorld Magazine and DM Review.

2007 InfoWorld 100 Awards (Sales and Financial Data Warehouse Initiative)

Data architect engaged to assist in the design and implementation master data solution using Kalido MDM. This application manages master data hierarchies to support the previously implemented warehouse as well as provide a model for future master data management using MDM.

EMC2:

Consultant engaged to assist EMC2 in the implementation of data warehouse using Kalido. This very large project involved a number of resources from multiple consulting firms including Kalido. Peter’s role was specific to defining and implementing non standard Kalido processes to support very large dimensions (normally more than 10 million entities).

Hewlett-Packard:

Consultant engaged to support the Kalido implementation of a reference data hub. The reference data hub is designed to feed dimensional data for a number of data warehouse application.
